Hi, I’m Kara! I’m a Mid-Michigan girl who loves a good adventure, meaningful conversations, making memories, and, of course, helping people find a place to call home.

I grew up in the area and have always had a strong connection to Mid-Michigan. I love knowing the communities, exploring the local spots, and being able to help people find a home in an area I’m proud to call my own. Real estate became a natural fit for me because it combines so many things I love—people, homes, problem-solving, and the excitement of helping someone start a new chapter.

Outside of work, I love traveling, getting outdoors, trying new things, spending time with the people I love, and finding reasons to laugh. I’m always up for a road trip, a new restaurant, a good hike, or an adventure I probably didn’t plan far enough in advance. I’m a big believer in making memories, enjoying the little things, and not waiting for the “perfect” time to enjoy life.

Life has taught me that things don’t always go according to plan—and that’s okay. Some of the best parts of my life have come from unexpected turns, new beginnings, and simply figuring things out as I go. That perspective has shaped who I am and how I treat the people around me.

I’m incredibly grateful for the life I’m building and for the people who have trusted me along the way. From Michigan roots to Florida luxury real estate and back home again, Shannon brings a unique perspective, decades of sales experience, and a genuine passion for helping people make their next move.

A lifelong Michigan native, She grew up in the small town of Mt. Morris and began building her professional career in sales, where she has spent her entire working life helping people find the right fit, whether it was food, jewelry, homes, or simply the right solution for her clients' needs.

In 2009, She took her career to Southwest Florida, where she became a licensed Florida real estate professional and specialized exclusively in luxury real estate throughout Naples and Marco Island. Working in one of the country's most competitive luxury markets gave her invaluable experience in high-end properties, negotiations, relocation, and providing an exceptional level of service to discerning clients. Shannon continues to maintain her Florida real estate license today.

In 2016, She brought her experience back to Michigan and joined Coldwell Banker, where she built a successful real estate career serving buyers and sellers throughout Mid-Michigan. Her accomplishments included Million Dollar Month recognition, Exceptional Sales Awards, a Relocation Award, and membership in the International Sterling Society in 2018.

After taking time away from real estate to focus on raising her son, She is excited to be back in the business she loves and proud to call Tamburino Real Estate LLC home.

Today, She serves clients throughout the Greater Lansing and Mid-Michigan area, including Charlotte, Okemos, St. Johns, Williamston, Jackson, Eaton Rapids, Nashville, Lake Odessa, and surrounding communities. Her experience spans residential and luxury properties, first-time homebuyers, sellers, investment properties, land, and relocation.

Shannon is known for being warm, personable, hands-on, and refreshingly straightforward. She is a skilled negotiator, highly detail-oriented, and able to remain calm when a transaction gets complicated. Most importantly, she genuinely looks out for her clients' best interests. When working with buyers, she approaches the search as though she were shopping for a home for herself, paying attention to the details, possibilities, and potential pitfalls that can make all the difference.

Outside of real estate, She enjoys gardening, working out, sports shooting, DIY projects, baking, cooking, self-care, and spending time with her three-year-old son, who keeps life entertaining and her schedule appropriately unpredictable. She is also a proud dog mom to her Goldendoodle, Wayne Newton.
